This one-of-a-kind pendant features a breathtaking African moonstone, glowing with quiet iridescence like moonlight caught in crystal. It’s lovingly cradled in sculptural, hand-hammered copper wire, woven with care into a frame of graceful curves and botanical flourishes.

Nestled at the base is a glowing citrine accent adding a spark of warmth and joy to the cool mystery of the moonstone. The entire piece measures 2.5" long by 1.75" wide (6.4 x 4.5 cm), making it a true statement pendant—bold, elegant, and impossible to overlook.

Inspiration behind the piece: 

"What inspired me to make this piece was a simple piece of lace I'd come across in my studio. It was delicate and full of textures and patterns. It was feminine, complex and absolutely beautiful. So, I grabbed my tablet and started sketching and this was the design that came to be. I had had this African Moonstone for over a year waiting for a design that would do it justice. The citrine was selected to add sparkle and warmth, much like the sun and moon contrasting each other. As I fashioned the frame, I began to carefully hammer wire and add texture through weaving. Finally, I added copper beads to fill in empty space and add a feminine flair. 

As for her name, "Elara" is one of the names of the moons that orbit Jupiter, which is a bright and warm planet. I felt its name rightly expressed the colors and mystical nature of the stones".
